Hi guys,
Still the best chopper pushbike site on the net, BikeRod&Kustom has it all.
.
Thought I'd send in a couple of snaps again of my latest creation to give back a little to this site that I get so much out of.
.
This machine has a 44-degree rake, and rides like a trooper. I used many techniques I picked up from articles on this website putting the whole thing together. About the only trouble I had with this creation was the chain clearance on the rear brakes, but it provided an opportunity for a custom hanger which sits the derailleur down a tad lower to make the gap. The most expensive part was the chroming process on the front end and all the rest was provided by a donor Stingray, and bends from old bed frames. The most time consuming was the frame moulding and shaping and welding in the gussets.
