Below: Velo Pod is shown with the left door open.  It is fiberglass & kevlar, with 2 Lexan fairings.  That silver behind the wheel is insulation.  Currently much more is insulated and the top is permanently molded in- this is a 2005 photo.  Enjoy! Chris
Chris Jordan: "Dragon-Draggin'" and "Velo Pod"
Above and Left: Dragon-Draggin' was a plain recumbent trike in 2001.  First, I added the Lexan clear fairing, then I added a curved roll-bar to match the curved fairing, then added silver insulation (painted with metallic model paint), then used the left over insulation to cut into flame "scoop" shapes- and painted those with high-heat auto engine paint.
Below: My "adult pedal car" Velo Pod has 2 doors (I prefer using the left door).  It has 2" open cell foam on an ergonomic hard shell seat, lots of insulation, handlebar extensions, 3 disk brakes, and a removable rain window (not shown).
