I built this one with my son, Zach, about two years ago, but we just got around to painting it this Summer. It started as an old Huffy 10-speed frame. We swung out the seatstays, stretched the chainstays and changed the angle of the head-tube. The triple clamps are made from three stacks of washers welded together and attached to each other with square stock. The bottom clamp is welded fast to the fork tubes and the steering tube, but the top clamp just slips over all three and is held in place by the nut on the steering tube. Chris |
