"From Junk to Jewel"
Ever since I took off my training wheels nearly 60 years ago, I've been fooling around with bicycles.
.
Now that I've retired and my time is my own, I've turned to building bikes from scratch.

.When I came across this rusted, rat-infested trike rear end in the woods, I knew I had to do something with it.But, as you can see,  this one is a bit different from the usual trikes,  have the little wire basket in the back and are used by "Granny" for trips to the Senior Center.
.
.Instead, this one comes complete with custom EMT conduit frame, 50-degree extended fork, 24-inch fat rear tires, aluminum rims, flamed chopper seat, and a simulated gas tank.  The addition of a pickup-truck-type 'bed' in the
rear makes this the perfect utility vehicle for work around the yard or a quick run to the local Lawn & Garden shop.
.
That's why I call it.....The Pickup Trike.   RP
