I basically wanted a bike that was so low, that when I park it at a bike show or whatever, people would wonder if it is even rideable.  How low is it?  The tops of the 26" tires are the highest points on the bike when the fork is dropped down.  This bike doesn't need a kickstand, as the pedal hits the ground about 3/4ths of the way down and holds the bike up just fine.  Yes, this bike is indeed rideable and is actually very comfortable once you get used to the unconventional fork angles.  When the fork is snapped into the riding position, the pedals clear the ground by an inch.  The Chinese engine runs great, the thing sounds like a badass chopper and gets going up to about 35 mph.
Thanks again for doing what you do at BR&K! Mark James

Hello BR&K!
Thanks for bringing us info and inspiration from all over the planet.  I've been building lowrider cars and trucks for over 10 years.  I stumbled upon your amazing site and was instantly hooked.  The attention to detail and ingenuity in the Kustom bike community is unrivaled!  Inspired, my goal was to build the baddest, lowest, and fasted knuckle-draggin' sled I could for the least amount of money.
.
This is what I ended up with:
Modified stretched Limo style frame (lowered seat post)
26" 200 spoke wheels w/ whitewalls
Vintage Schwinn style grips and pedals
Bent springer forks with adjustable twisted extended spring perch
Beach cruiser style bars
Brooks saddle (the most expensive part on the bike)!
Custom mounted Chinese 70cc 2 cycle engine
