Part 2:  Bike Throw

Announced as the "World Championship Of Folding-Bike Throwing", this
funny  contest was shown on TV the same evening, including a proposal of marriage in between throws.

Beachcruise Festival 2007, Essen Germany
A big event took place in mid-July in Essen/Germany, organized by Best Bones Bikes.
The day was divided into four parts:

1: Live Bike Build-Off
2:  Bike  long throw
3:  Cruise around Lake Baldeneysee
4: Best of Show Contest

Three television and print-media news teams came to the spot to report on the event, especially for the long throw of a '70s folding bike.  It was jokingly announced as the World Championship, which was interesting to them.
Part 1: Live Bike Build Off
In the morning, a build off began between two teams:
Allridestyle
and Best Bones Bikes.

Two mechanics were allowed to assemble the bikes in front of the audience, which got to select the winner with the best bike.

Team Best Bones Bikes,
with Rolf and Karsten,
decided to build a high-tech
racer with a 110cc engine
Team Allridestyle,
with Basti and Svente,
decided to build a rat-style bike with an eye-catching Bone-shifter.
Allridestyle won the contest in the end. Congratulations Basti and Svente!
