Beachcruise Festival 2007, Essen Germany |
A big event took place in mid-July in Essen/Germany, organized by Best Bones Bikes. The day was divided into four parts:
1: Live Bike Build-Off 2: Bike long throw 3: Cruise around Lake Baldeneysee 4: Best of Show Contest
Three television and print-media news teams came to the spot to report on the event, especially for the long throw of a '70s folding bike. It was jokingly announced as the World Championship, which was interesting to them. |
Part 1: Live Bike Build Off In the morning, a build off began between two teams: Allridestyle and Best Bones Bikes.
Two mechanics were allowed to assemble the bikes in front of the audience, which got to select the winner with the best bike.
